From the International Bus Station "Népliget":

Take the tram number 1 or 1A in direction of ’Bécsi út’ and get off at the 9th stop at ’Erzsébet királyné útja’. Here take the electric bus number 70 and get off at the 4th stop at ‘Damjanich utca/Dózsa György út’. Ring the Baroque doorbell at 80/a Dózsa György street.

From the Ferihegy Ferenc Liszt International Airport:

By taxi:

If you would like to come with taxi from the airport we can help you to manage it if you send us your flight number, name of the airline company and time of arrival. It cost 7800 HUF/taxi (~25.2 EUR)

By public transportation:

By train: if you are in the Terminal 1, you can go by train from the train station which is opposite to the Terminal. It costs 370 HUF for 2nd class (1,3 euros) to "Nyugati pályaudvar" (Western Railway Station) and it takes about 26 minutes. From there take tram 4 or 6 to the direction of "Újbuda-központ" (tram4) or "Móricz Zsigmond körtér" (tram 6) until "Király utca/Erzsébet körút". Here you change to bus 70 (red electric bus) to the direction of "Erzsébet királyné útja" until "Damjanich utca/Dózsa György út". The hostel is 1 minute walk from the bus stop. Ring the Baroque doorbell at 80/a Dózsa György street.

By bus: if you want to go by bus (from both Terminal 1 and 2) you need to buy tickets first (350 HUF/ticket) There are ticket machines at the bus stop or you can buy them on the bus (this case more expensive: 450 HUF/ticket).

Take bus 200E to the last stop ("Köbánya-Kispest") -which is also the last stop of the blue metro line (M3). Then punch the 2nd ticket before you board the metro. Take off at "Nyugati pályaudvar" and from here you can follow our instructions above.

Take bus 100E all the way to the center ("Deák Ferenc tér"). Ticket for this bus cost 900 HUF one way. From here take metro M1 (yellow line) to the direction of "Mexikói út" until "Hősök tere". From here you can walk 6-8 minutes then ring the Baroque doorbell at 80/a Dózsa György street. If you do not want to walk you can take bus 30, 30A 75 or 79 from "Hősök tere" to "Damjanich utca/Dózsa György út"

Note: The metro service runs from 04.30 to 23.10 every day.
In Budapest you need to validate a new ticket every time you change metro lines, buses or trams. On the lines M2 and M3 the ticket is valid one hour if you travel to the same direction. On the M1 line the ticket is valid 30 minutes. A ticket costs 350 HUF (approx. 1,2 euros). There are validating machines on the buses and trams and at the metro stations.

By airport minibus:

You can take the Airport Minibus -which is cheaper than a taxi if you are alone. The fee is 3900 HUF for 1 person, for 2 people it costs 7000 HUF. We can help you to manage it if you send us your flight number, name of the airline company and time of the arrival.
