From the International Bus Station "Népliget":

Take the tram number 1 or 1A in direction of ’Bécsi út’ and get off at the 9th stop at ’Erzsébet királyné útja’. Here take the electric bus number 70 and get off at the 4th stop at ‘Damjanich utca/Dózsa György út’. Ring the Baroque doorbell at 80/a Dózsa György street.

From the Ferihegy Ferenc Liszt International Airport:

By taxi:

Reservations can be made in person at the Főtaxi booths located at the exits of Terminals 2A and 2B. At the taxi ranks in front of the stands, taxis are continuously waiting for passengers.

In Hungary, the taxi decree regulates the price* of taxis at a fixed tariff of 440 HUF/km (1,15 EUR/km), in addition to a one-off basic fee of 1100 HUF (2.85 EUR) and a waiting fee. A ride to the city center should typically cost around 10800 HUF (28 EUR), depending on traffic conditions.

Please be aware of potentially exposing yourself to risks by using other, non-contracted taxi service providers soliciting at the terminal buildings.

By public transportation:

By bus: Take bus 200E to the last stop ("Köbánya-Kispest") -which is also the last stop of the blue metro line (M3). Then punch the 2nd ticket before you board the metro. Take off at "Nyugati pályaudvar" and from here you can follow our instructions above.

Take bus 100E all the way to the center ("Deák Ferenc tér"). Ticket for this bus cost 2200 HUF one way. From here take metro M1 (yellow line) to the direction of "Mexikói út" until "Hősök tere". From here you can walk 6-8 minutes then ring the Baroque doorbell at 80/a Dózsa György street. If you do not want to walk you can take bus 30, 30A 75 or 79 from "Hősök tere" to "Damjanich utca/Dózsa György út"

Note: The metro service runs from 04.30 to 23.10 every day.
In Budapest you need to validate a new ticket every time you change metro lines, buses or trams. On the lines M2 and M3 the ticket is valid one hour if you travel to the same direction. On the M1 line the ticket is valid 30 minutes. A ticket costs 450 HUF (approx. 1,2 euros). There are validating machines on the buses and trams and at the metro stations.
